We are aware that leathers are produced from animal skin usually cattle, the processing following similar patterns, with full grain considered to be amongst the best. At Distinctive Chesterfields we hand select our leathers for evenness and feel, also fineness of grain depending upon which type of leather you decide upon. For all our Distinctive Chesterfield Sofas, Club Chairs, or Footstools, three styles are offered.
Antique Leather is our standard, by which all others should be judged and is fine in quality and offered in ten different colours. On the other hand, the Premium Leather range is finer than the Antique Leather range, pre treated with natural finishing products, you will notice that these are softer to the touch and with a range of nineteen standards colours from which you can choose, you will be spoiled for choice. Our hand dyed range is the ultimate in leather finishing, using a time honoured, traditional method of leather finishing, handed down over centuries by leather craftsmen with a rich deep finish and will give years of use improving with age.
