We make all our own Chesterfields here in the UK.

All our Chesterfield Sofas are hand made to order and a common question we have is ‘How Long Does It Take?’

We would say an average order time is 6 weeks.

We have to hand make the hardwood frames which are dowelled and screwed, webb the arms and backs using pirelli webbing and  fire retardant multigrade foam then upholster the sofa with full hides of leather and then individually hand studd and button the boarders. The different ranges in Chesterfield Sofas we do each have their own distinctive finish with either solid mahogany feet or brass castor.

As you can appreciate the Chesterfield sofa is not a cheap and throw away type of sofa, we expect our customers to use our sofas for the next 20 years or so, so we want them to be made and finished with the highest quality in mind!

Well what did I tell you!

Some cracking deals have just being put on to the website this morning, Distinctive Chesterfields are all ready there with quality of their furniture and now with the quality of their deals.

We have deals on all our ranges of Chesterfields if you are fancying a new suite, sofa or  chair please take a few moments to look and even if you are not wanting a new Chesterfield sofa you might know someone who is!!

The biggest saving on at the moment would have to be the Derby 3 Seater Sofa in an Antique colour of your choice for £895.00 This is a saving of a massive £300.00.

Are you getting aches and pains from sitting in a uncomfortable chair at work look no further we are the answer!

We have a range of leather study chairs that are really comfortable and give you support where it is needed, We make all our chairs by hand and they look great.

My personal favourite is the Radcliffe Study Chair, an open sided chair with a fully buttoned back and leather capped arms.

There are four to choose from but again we are looking to increase this soon, so keep checking our website for the new deals available.

We have had a massive  increase in enquirys at Distinctive Chesterfields about the different footstools we offer.

Alot of our customers are wanting footstools with storage facilitys so we are currently in talks with our frame makers to see if we can make this happen. All of us at some point has been caught un aware when you get a knock at the door and it’s the inlaws, the first thought you have is quick hide everything I don’t want them thinking we are untidy!

Keep an eye out for the new footstools the  pictures  should be  on our website soon.

Well just look at the weather, this is horrendous and all the hype that goes along with it is laughable. My childrens school was closed so I had a great 2 days playing in the snow and building snowmen, NOT!!!!

I would much rather be inside on my settee with my feet up with a nice cup of hot chocolate and watching day time TV.

I have a 3 seat Kent Chesterfield settee and 2 club chairs which are great, I love them they are so comfy, I went for the hand stuffed cushions because I like the softness however for those of you that don’t like this why not try something like a Cumberland settee. A Cumberland settee has a sprung base which give the same support just a firmer sit.
